1. Scope of the Hoberg ID Service
Hoberg ID (account.hoberg.com.ng) provides centralized account registration, authentication, and OpenID Connect (OIDC) single sign-on (“Continue with Hoberg”) for Maji and other authorized applications in the Hoberg ecosystem.
2. Account Registration & Inbox Verification
You may register using an existing valid email address (such as Gmail, Outlook, or a custom domain) and must create a dedicated Hoberg password. Email verification proves only that you can access messages sent to that inbox; it does not constitute government or legal identity verification.
3. Credential Security & Acceptable Use
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Hoberg password. You must not attempt to probe, enumerate, bypass rate limits, or access another user's account or profile data.
4. Connected Applications & Scoped Consent
When you choose “Continue with Hoberg” on a connected application such as Maji, Hoberg ID displays the specific identity scopes requested (openid, profile, email). You may review and revoke application permissions at any time from your Account Dashboard.
5. Account Termination & Contact
You may export your data or request account deletion at any time in your account settings. For operational or security inquiries, contact security@hoberg.com.ng.
